Brown reveals Bullard close to Hull return

Hull City boss Phil Brown says Jimmy Bullard is close to his latest comeback.

The exuberant midfielder is closing in on a return after suffering another knee injury in December and could make his comeback against West Ham next weekend.

"He's getting very, very close," said Brown. "You don't want him to do too much too soon. Jimmy's the sort of character who wants that and it's difficult once he's loose to keep the reins on him. I can't wait to let the reins go."
