Brown: Man Utd must now win regardless
Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 02/09/2010 - 19:36
Wes Brown knows they have reached the stage in the season where Manchester United need to win every game they play.
United head to Aston Villa tomorrow night looking to avenge their first home defeat to the Midlands outfit since 1981.
Sir Alex Ferguson once famously described this period as "squeaky bum time" and Brown knows exactly why.
"Once we get to this stage of the season it is no longer about wanting to win," said the England star. "We have to win. We have to play well and we have to score goals.
"Recent results mean we have a lot of confidence at the moment. Hopefully we can keep it that way."

all u ppl hoo r writin off united....never make tht mistake...remember, many titles hav been won by united frm th brink....and as far as u thinking villa will win 2-0, 5-0.....r u high?? unless sumthn goes horribly wrong in th match, tht sort of loss is an impossibility...united r also in 2 good form 2 write out of th match or th title race....understandably wid recent weeks, united go in as favorites....and i dunt need 2 argue th facts spk 4 themselves....in th last 6 games united hav won 5 in all competitions....scored 19 goals....and conceded 2....u cant argue wid form lyk tht...th positive thing is tht they r starting 2 score goals fr absolute fun...and their defense is back 2 its brutish best and they r barely conceding ne....so argue all u want but at least say sumthn tht even has a small chance of coming true...otherwise u just embarrass ur sorry asses....
ManU have no chance, it's a gimme to Villa. Nani the exotic ***** will be sent off for sure.
