Brosque named Sydney FC Player of the Year
Alex Brosque was last night named Sydney FC’s Player of the Year for season 2009/10.
The 26-year old added a third-straight club Player of the Year award after being voted in by his teammates.
It capped a brilliant season for Brosque who was also selected in the Australian national squad as he helped guide the Sky Blues to the Premiers’ Plate and the championship.
Brosque made 29 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists.
He was also voted the Members Player of the Year, voted for by the football club members and presented by head of the Cove, Grant Muir.
