Brisbane Roar has signed Redlands City goalkeeper Matt Ham for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 season.

Ham’s services were secured following the immediate release of Liam Reddy from the remainder of his contract with the club today.

He rejoins the club having been signed to the Queensland Roar Hyundai A-League squad in the 2007/08 season.

A shoulder injury, which required surgery, in pre-season of that year ended his stint with the club before it had started.

Ham has filled the role of short-term injury cover for the Roar since that initial signing but is yet to make a Hyundai A-League appearance. Earlier in the season the shot-stopper also signed as short-term injury cover at tomorrow night’s visitor to Suncorp Stadium, North Queensland Fury.

Ham will wear the No.1 shirt and take his place in Ange Postecoglou’s squad for tomorrow night’s game against the Fury at Suncorp Stadium, kick-off is 7.30pm.
