Brisbane Roar clash so important for us – Adelaide United’s van Dijk

Tomorrow night’s top of the table clash between Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United is clearly an important event.

None more so than for Reds striker Sergio van Dijk who is determined to show his former club that he and his enw teammates are capable of bouncing back from defeat.

"It's really important for us," he told AAP.

"We had a loss against the Victory and there was a lot of emotions because it was a big game for Adelaide and it was the first loss of the season which was disappointing.

"But a good team shows how they can come back from a loss and that's what we need to do now.

"Ultimately we have to be really aggressive."
