Bridge to miss up to two Sydney FC matches
Submitted by Andrew Slevison on Tue, 08/10/2010 - 05:34
Sydney FC will be without attacker Mark Bridge for at least one A-League match.
The 24-year old picked up a hamstring injury during the 3-3 season opening draw with Melbourne Victory on Saturday night and will be forced out of the trip to take on North Queensland Fury this weekend.
Recent scans have confirmed a hamstring strain which may even keep Bridge out for a further week.
“It is disappointing when you get injured, especially when you pick something up in the final minutes of the game,” Bridge said. “I will do all the right things and be back. It is a long season so it is important not to rush back.”
