Bournemouth set to be top-dog on South Coast

Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell has ambitions for the Cherries to be the dominant club on the south coast.

Mitchell believes the Dorset outfit are ready to leave Portsmouth and Southampton in their shadow.

In an interview with the Bournemouth Daily Echo, Mitchell said: "I would like to think we could creep along and become top dogs on the south coast.

"We have got a great set up here and the team and the feel-good factor around the club is going to propel us up with them."
