Jussi Jaaskelainen will be suspended for Bolton’s trips to Arsenal and Aston Villa in the Premier League, and Burnley in the Carling Cup, following his red card in yesterday's 2-2 draw with Birmingham.

But Coyle won’t recall Ali Al-Habsi from Wigan – and instead looks set to continue with the inexperienced Bogdan between the posts.

“Adam played at Southampton during the week and came on against Birmingham because I have tremendous belief in him,” Coyle told the Bolton News.

“I’ve got absolutely no fears about Adam Bogdan going to play at the Emirates because we think he’s going to be a top-class goalkeeper.

“We do have that option [to bring Al-Habsi back] but we put Ali on loan because he needed to get Premier League experience.

“If we bring Ali back for three games then he’s back in the same position after that because Jussi is a top-class goalkeeper.

“I might change my mind but I’m not envisaging that [Al-Habsi coming back].”
