Bolton boss Coyle anxious about offloading fringe players
Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is still trying to clear fringe players off his books.
Jlloyd Samuel, Andy O'Brien, Danny Shittu, Joey O’Brien and Mustapha Riga could all be on their way before the market closes.
“At the end of the day we have to deal with it, whether it’s good, bad, or indifferent,” Coyle told the Bolton News. “You have to make the best of what you have got.
“We’ll have to tell a couple of players that they won’t be in the squad, which isn’t good, but I think that they know if something comes along then they can go with my blessing.
“I don’t want to go public and name them. But we have had that chat, and that’s where we are. It won’t come as a big surprise to them that they have missed out.”
