Bolton boss Coyle: 11 Championship clubs want Ward

Bolton Wanderers are sending Danny Ward away on-loan.

Bolton Wanderers are sending Danny Ward away on-loan.

Eleven Championship clubs still have offers on the table, joining League One Southampton and Swindon Town, and three Scottish Premier League sides in the hunt.

“I’ve allowed Danny and his representatives to speak to various clubs,” Trotters boss Owen Coyle told the Bolton News.

“They can suss out what their feeling is, and then myself or the chairman will then speak to the relevant party about the finance involved.

“What I have said is that if and when he goes out we want to put in place a structure where the more he plays, the less that club will pay.

“i have had players on loan myself and we’re not looking to dictate to anybody but we are saying that if you want the lad and he’s got a genuine chance of playing, then you pay less. And I think that’s a fair way of doing it.”
