Bolton 2-1 Stoke: Trotters grab late winner in action-packed encounter
Bolton have won their first home game of the season thanks to an injury time winner from Ivan Klasnic.
The Trotters took the lead in the 22nd minute when South Korea international Lee Chung-yong stabbed home from 20 yards with a first-time effort before Stoke’s Rory Delap levelled three minutes after the break when he scored his first goal in 21 months.
The match was headed for a draw until some late drama ensued when Klasnic fired home to give Bolton the win before the Croatian was sent off for two bookable offences in the final few minutes.
However, it didn’t affect the result allowing Owen Coyle’s men to move up to seventh and pushing the Potters down to ninth.
