Liverpool are tracking Boca Juniors midfielder Gary Medel.
Clarin says the Chile international is aware of Liverpool's interest and is willing to wait until January before moving to Europe.
Real Madrid and AC Milan have also been long-term suitors of Medel, but the prospect of moving to Anfield is exciting for the talented youngster.
