Blackburn signing Benjani keen to play out career in England
New Blackburn Rovers striker Benjani Mwaruwari says he'd like the chance to play out his career in the Premier League.
His Rovers debut could come as early as Saturday, at former club Manchester City, and he is out to make an instant impression.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: “It is always nice to play against your old team. I wish I will be fit and to play them would be interesting to me. If you go there they have a lot of quality in the team and top players so it will be difficult to go there and win.
“It is not just Manchester City, I would love to score against any team I play against. I do love playing in England, it is the best league in the world and I would love to end my career here.
“It is not a problem, that is why Blackburn are in the Premier League because they can compete with any team. We are fighting very hard to come back with the result.”
