Blackburn Rovers are set to offer Fulham’s Jonathan Greening a lifeline.

Blackburn Rovers are set to offer Fulham’s Jonathan Greening a lifeline.

The Lancashire club are keen on having the 31-year old on a season-long loan and offering him a way out of Craven Cottage.

New Fulham boss Mark Hughes has told Greening he doesn’t figure in his plans this term and Rovers manager Sam Allardyce wants to strengthen his squad.

Greening, a former Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion midfielder, has dropped his form since becoming a Cottager and a new environment could be a positive move.
