Blackburn cool Vieri trials talk

Blackburn Rovers have cooled talk of a move for Christian Vieri.

It was mooted the former Inter and AC Milan striker would be invited for preseason trials at Rovers.

But the Lancashire Telegraph says Rovers sources suggest the prospect is a non-starter.
