Blackburn confirm interest for Chelsea kid Di Santo

Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams has confirmed interest in Chelsea striker Franco di Santo.

Rovers are also keen to bring in Chelsea's 20-year-old Argentinian Di Santo on a season-long loan, although that would not replace the need for a main striker.

Williams, however, dismissed suggestions they had made a move to bring back former striker Kevin Davies from Bolton.

"Di Santo is a player we are interested in but we have not enquired about Kevin Davies," he said.

"(Bolton chairman) Phil Gartside phoned me to clarify the rumours, not the other way round."

It would be a big step for him, he actually doens't fit the team, but in Blackburn he'll have a great chance, so when he comes back he would have more experience and will get his place

we should loan him out so he can play some games in the premier league . and become a better player for us . we all know that he is a fantastic player
