Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is pleased with his deal for Lars Jacobsen.
“Lars has settled in exceptionally well,” said Allardyce.
“He’s a very good professional and has never missed a day’s training since he started with us.
“He’s a real pleasure to work with and is showing the sort of form and ability that obviously encouraged David Moyes to take him to Everton last year.
“I think with us signing Michel Salgado, he knows that if he doesn’t play his best he’s got big trouble because you’ve got a world class player waiting to jump in there if needs be. But I also think Michel can play in other positions as well, which could be important for us.”
