Chelsea have come from behind to defeat Blackburn Rovers 2-1 at Ewood Park in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues fell behind when Benjani Mwaruwari headed home a cross from El-Hadji Diouf but clawed their way back into proceedings when Didier Drogba nodded into the path of Nicolas Anelka who swept home six minutes before the break.

Chelsea had to dig deep to find a winner which came in the 84th minute when Yuri Zhirkov sent a ball into the area for Branislav Ivanovic to head home, inflicting defeat on Blackburn who have not won in four starts.

Chelsea maintained their five-point lead on Arsenal and Manchester United as the Rovers remained perilously placed above the drop zone.
