With no guarantees of first team football Amaury Bischoff decided the time was right to leave Arsenal.

The Gunners confirmed on Tuesday that the midfielder's contract at the club had expired.

The 22-year-old failed to start a game for Arsenal and is now seeking a new side for next season.

"(Wenger) could not guarantee me playing time next season. So we decided together that it was best that I did not extend (the contract)," Bischoff told L'Equipe.
