Birmingham City fullback Gregory Vignal says the Premiership is the best place to play football.

"I understood what Eric (Cantona) was saying when he said he should have been English. When he left France he was a good player but he became a king for Manchester United," said Vignal.

"And it's true what they say. All players want to come and play in the best league in the world.

"I like the football here and I'd like to stay for a long time."
