Birmingham to splash out on Southampton youngster Lallana

Birmingham City are lining up a January bid for Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana.

The Daily Mail says Brum are tracking Southampton’s Lallana with a view to making a £3million January bid.

The 22-year-old is highly regarded within St Andrews and made history last term when he became the first Southampton midfielder in 26 years to score 20 goals.

Bournemouth will be due a 25 per cent windfall from the sale under the terms of the agreement that took Lallana to Southampton as a schoolboy.
