Birmingham not given up on signing Boyer

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is confident a deal for Lee Bowyer can be concluded.

McLeish is confident Bowyer's move will be sealed soon, with further reinforcements to follow.

He told the club's official website: "We believe Lee will rejoin the cause and that we can we add other midfielders - one, possibly two before the season starts."
