Birmingham boss McLeish refuses to give up on Celtic star McGeady

Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is willing to go to £9 million for Celtic winger Aiden McGeady.
The People says McLeish has had an initial offer rejected. But Celtic, working hard to balance the books during the decline of the Scottish Premier League, still need more cash - and McLeish knows that.
He wants to link McGeady with former Rangers star Barry Ferguson. Even if he decides not to splash the extra cash now, he will go back for the Republic of Ireland star in the summer.

Fair play to you Eddie, mate. I'm a 'bluenose' and can't argue with anything you've said there! Bit shoddy......Still hope 'eck lands him in the end tho!
who wrote this rubbish, Celtic are not "balancing the books" as Celtic do not have any debt.
If you insist on writing about football try and learn about it first. If Celtic sell McGeady it will be because someone has offered them the valut Celtic have placed on them. Reportedly the value for McGeady is £10m, no bit short of that price will be considered because Celtic do not have any need to sell.
if you look at the reason eck failed to get anywhere with his bit before it wasnt because he didnt bid high enough, it was because he was told the player WAS NOT FOR SALE.
instead of making up stories why dont youresearch them properly then make comment, then people might actually start coming to your site on purpose!!!!!!
