Benitez grateful to Purslow for public Liverpool support

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has thanked managing director Christian Purslow for supporting him after their Champions League failure this week.

Purslow insisted the board was fully behind Benitez, despite their failure to get out of their Champions League group.

Benitez said: "I was happy too with what Christian Purslow (managing director) said about me and the future straight after the game in Budapest, we beat Debrecen but we were out of the Champions League.

"But still for him to say he was supporting me was encouraging. Because over the last few months a lot of people have been talking too much about this.

"From the people at the top, everyone from the managing director to the kit man, we are all together in this."

Nice to hear that he got all this applaud....HE WILL STAY 4 LONG....HAhahahahahhahhihihihi hahahahahahah Loserfool will still win nothing

That is the humble Rafa thanking for the support. Now and only now does he feel the way Alonso felt when he was rejected the summer before last. Now lets see if Rafa can rise from this coz if he does then he will be the greatist manager of all times... the thing is that if you fall of the horse you must get straight back on, if you do that you will have learnt a lesson instead of giving up...
