Bayern Munich star Muller: Beating Argentina just insane
Bayern Munich winger Thomas Muller has branded Germany's 4-0 win over Argentina as "insane".
Muller, who has attracted interest from Manchester United and Chelsea, scored in the rout.
The youngster, who continued his impressive World Cup but will miss the semi-final through suspension after collecting two yellow cards, was staggered by the performance and the 20-year-old could not hide his emotions.
Germany coach Joachim Low said: "It's insane to beat Argentina 4-0. It's hard to find the words for a result like that.
"I think Germany is quaking right now and that's the right way to celebrate this."
Low said of Muller's suspension following a debatable handball: "The fact that we won't have him is a serious blow because he has shown how dangerous he is.
"I saw his yellow and don't see why he got it. The ball touches his thigh then his arm from a short distance. I really question the yellow.
"But in the past we have been able to replace people like Muller and we will continue to do so as we move forward."
