Barcelona sweat on Euro selection for Arsenal's Eboue

Arsenal fullback Emmanuel Eboue is delighted with the interest of Barcelona.
"It's an honor that I'm being linked to the best club in Europe. That means that my work is valued," said Eboue.
El Mundo Deportivo says Barca's interest in the Ivory Coast international will be decided tomorrow night. If Arsenal field Eboue in their Champions League playoff against Celtic, Barca will look elsewhere rather than take a player who is Cup-tied from European football.

Want utility player

Eboue maybe should not be faulted for his effort, but he can certainly be faulted for his discipline.
I think Eboue can not be faulted for his effort. He tries his heart out. I thought he was an excellent attacking right back but lost his way when he was played out of position in midfield. I saw him play againts Athletico Madrid in the Emirates Cup a few weeks ago and was impressed with him...though I thought he did dive a bit. If Barcelona/Fiorentina want him they must see something in him. Of all the squad players at Arsenal I think he is one of the ones I would hold on to as he is a utility player. He had a tough time last season with the fans getting on his back. Maybe he has come out the other side of that a better but we will have to wait and see. I think Chelsea will win the Premiership this season but don't be too surprised if Arsenal do better than all the pundits think.
