Barcelona star Lionel Messi insists no amount of money from Manchester City will tempt him away.

Barcelona's interest in Robinho has prompted some wags at Eastlands to suggest they might try and tempt Messi to join their ambitious project.

The Argentine laughed: "I think they know not to bother.

"I am so happy playing for Barcelona at the highest level. I have read about the money they are paying, but it is not as if Barcelona pay bad wages."
