Barcelona president Joan Laporta was beaming over the response of fans to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's presentation yesterday.
The 55,000-plus crowd at the Nou Camp broke all records for Barca and Laporta said: "It's been an historic day and I want to thank every person who came for their support.
"Zlatan is a maverick and has healthy ambition to win. He also has a great talent, and of course the backing of Pep Guardiola, who had always expressed the desire to have him.
"He is one of the most important additions in the history of this club. But it was only achieved after complex negotiations, which were resolved thanks to the merits of the technical group of the club led by Txiki Beguiristain."

@The Worst deal in History! Ibrahimovic goes missing against the big teams (did nothing against liverpool in the CL). Has talent, but too lazy in my opinion.. similar to Berbatov.
lol. at least Berbatov has been working his @$$ off in the pre-season. lets see if his hard work continues into the regular season.
I still don't get why Barca wanted to get rid of Eto. sometimes football can be so confusing.
Why is everybody bitchin like it's you own money . So , all you know better than Pep and all Barca stuff . There must be something that we don't know why they wanted to get rid of Eto'o .
Maybe hi attitude or maybe he became greedy or maybe they know more than all of you and understand Ibracadabra is a better player . That guy became the richest player from Africa , thanks to Barca , and now is demanding and arrogant . No thanks , we dont need negative ppl in Barca . Let him go .
The only winner in this transaction is " ETOO'O "...
