Barcelona legend Stoichkov happy seeing Real Madrid dumped out of Europe

Barcelona legend Hristo Stoichkov enjoyed seeing Real Madrid dumped out of Europe last week.

The Bulgarian firebrand is a self-confessed 'anti-Madridista'.

Stoichkov said: "I was glad that Real Madrid were eliminated.

"Lyon was not the team of a few years ago, but when you think you'll win the game easily, that makes it all very difficult."

On the recent suspension of Barca coach Pep Guardiola, Stoichkov jumped to the defence of his former teammate.

"Someday soon they will arrest Pep for standing on an ant!"

Look at last 5 years barcelona had 2 cl tittles while real madrid have never reached quartar final onece also, this clearly says who is the better team now
