Barcelona's World Player of the Year Lionel Messi says the Premiership is on the slide.
All five candidates for the ultimate prize came from the Spanish competition.
Barcelona's Messi, 22, insisted: "The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka at Real make the Spanish league stronger than the English. Players want to come to Spain." But he did admit: "We have to recognise it is the English clubs who have reached the latter stages of the Champions League recently."

i agree with craig.. Last time anyone other than barca or madrid won the liga was in 04 when valencia won it.. Last time anyone other than manure or chelshit won was even before that-03.. Arsenal..
In spain in last 12-15 years 4-6 clubs have won titlle.. In england only 3..
In england, mostly top 4 are always the same.. Whereas in spain, there would've been at least 7-8 different teams playing in ch league..
And madrid and especially barca play a brand of football epl only can dream of.. Arsenal only play something similar, but that too not at spanish teams level..
