Ballack: Chelsea players won’t fall for Mourinho mind games

Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack insists they won't fall for Jose Mourinho's mind games ahead of their Champions League return-leg clash with Inter Milan.

Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack insists they won't fall for Jose Mourinho's mind games ahead of their Champions League return-leg clash with Inter Milan.

Chelsea know Mourinho will have plenty to boast about after his team’s 2-1 first leg Champions League win last week when they meet at Stamford Bridge on March 16.

But Ballack, signed for Chelsea by Mourinho back in 2006, said: “He won’t affect us. It doesn’t matter what might come on that front. We just have to focus on ourselves.

“We are a strong and experienced team. We know what we have to do. No, I don’t think we’ll listen to what he says. I think everything has been said.

“Everybody knows he likes English football and he likes Chelsea still. It is a special situation for him and the club.”
