Atletico Madrid’s Tiago: Barcelona coach Guardiola would not last season in Italy

Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago says Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola would be eaten alive in Italy.

Tiago is on-loan at Atletico from Juventus and was asked about the prospect of Guardiola moving to Serie A.

"If Guardiola went to Italy, with the players who are there and with the philosophy that exists and is impossible to change, he would not last a season," said Tiago.

"He would succeed only if he could bring along all the players of Barcelona."

Guardiola is a fluke Like Franck Rijkaard. If you give me players like messi, alves, puyol, i can become the coach too.

Wat a stupid statement, however i do c pep headin to another club...he doesnt seem like a '1 club' coach.....he would rock in the BPL......maybe Man Utd's next coach???
