Assulin called up by Barcelona coach Guardiola

Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has promoted Gai Assulin to his senior squad for their Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev.

Only last week, Assulin was running around for Barca Atleti, but with injury problems to his strike-force, Guardiola has called up the young Israel international.

The 18 year-old is regarded as the best young player to emerge from Israel in modern times and resisted offers from Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United to turn pro with Barca last year.
