Ashley Cole to boost Chelsea Double chase

Ashley Cole is set to be fit for Chelsea's season run-in.

The Sunday Mirror says there were fears that Cole, who in the last two seasons has developed into what many regard as the best left-back in the world, could miss out on South Africa this summer after he broke a bone in his foot against Everton last month.

But the operation to cure the injury was a complete success and his recovery is going well. He is now expected back for the last six games of Chelsea’s season as they push for the Premier League and FA Cup.

That news will be a boost to Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti as he attempts to find consolation in the domestic double to make for the Champions League exit against Inter Milan last week.
