Zulte-Waregem chief Patrick Decuyper has welcomed the loan of Chelsea midfielder Thorgan Hazard.

Decuyper admits he first raised the prospect of signing Hazard during the London Olympics.

"I launched the idea of taking Thorgan on-loan," revealed Decuyper.

"I really think Abramovich and co have been smart taking Thorgan at such a young age and for such a price. As his development continues, you'll see two Hazards starring at Chelsea."
