Bruno Zuculini enjoyed his first preseason with Manchester City.
The Argentine midfielder joined City from Racing Club over the summer before signing on a season-long loan with Valencia this week.
Asked about City manager Manuel Pellegrini, Zuculini replied: "I was surprised with the relationship we had from the beginning.
"We spent several days together and he made me feel good."
Asked about his City future, Zuculini added: "I do not want to speak ill of City because for a year I will not be with them. I cannot decide if in a year I have to go back or not.
"Here (at Valencia) I want to do well and then there will be time to decide about everything else."
