Barcelona sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta has confirmed they will seek to send several fringe players away this week.

Ibrahim Afellay, Andreu Fontas and Jonathan dos Santos are expected to be moved on in the coming days.

"This week, we'll look to make room by sending some players away," confirmed Zubi after victory over Real Sociedad.
