Fulham's number two goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbuhler has opened talks with Fulham in a bid for a new contract.
The 38-year old has played second-fiddle to Australian Mark Schwarzer at Craven Cottage but is determined to win the number one post.
"I'm still very fresh and go with a lot of joy to training," the Switzerland international told Baz.online.
" I have a contract until the summer signed and I am very happy in London.
"There have been talks with Fulham and my agent has also been contacted. In the end, the decision will be made by the manager and the goalie coach.
"At the moment I would like to continue to play and practice. My body is in better shape than ever, so why should I stop now? And I like the city enormously."
