Swiss veteran goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbuhler rates Mark Schwarzer the best in England. He told fuhamfc.com: "He had a fantastic season and I think he deserves all the recognition he gets, because he was one of Fulham's most important players last year. We won quite a few points and games thanks to Mark's form between the posts.

"Some of the saves we saw were truly world-class. I can't explain just how important it is for a team to have a keeper like that because he gives his team-mates a lot of confidence. And that filters through from the defence right up to the attack.

"If a team wants to be successful on the pitch they need a strong keeper and Fulham have that with Mark. I don't just say this because he is my team-mate either, in my eyes he is just the complete goalkeeper.

"I'm happy to call him my team-mate and a friend because he's a fantastic professional and individual. I've been in the game a while but working with him over the last year or so, he has taught me a lot of things."
