Chelsea and Napoli legend Gianfranco Zola says Parma striker Antonio Cassano should go to the World Cup.

Cassano has so far been ignored by Italy coach Cesare Prandelli.

Zola said: "Antonio is an extraordinary player. Anyone who appreciates football would say that.

"If it were down to me I would always take a player of his type to the World Cup."
