Gianfranco Zola has no regrets over taking the West Ham United job.
Zola is reported to be earning £1.9m a year as West Ham manager but was already a wealthy man following a glittering playing career.
"I'm not here for the money," he told the Daily Mail. "I've already been through a very difficult time last season and we coped very well. I still think I can do well in this job. If I thought I couldn't help this team then I wouldn't be here. I came here because I had a dream but if I see I cannot pursue the dream any more, then that would be it.
"The dream is still alive, though. It was to make players better, maybe make a difference to some players who were not quite good enough before."
