Didier Zokora is delighted with his role in Tottenham's revival after a first team recall from new gaffer Harry Redknapp.

The midfielder told Tottenham's website: "It's always important to be ready to play, even if you don't start, because everyone has a job to do for the team.

"I had a chance to play and I took it, so I'm very happy because it was a great result for us as well.

"Taking three points against a team like Liverpool is not easy, so this is great for the confidence.

"In the past when we have played against the best teams, we don't tend to come back after conceding a goal, so we worked hard to win this game.

"After taking seven points from three games, the confidence is back, and now we have to keep these performances going."

On the impact his new manager has made at the Club, Didier added: "It's unbelievable at the moment. Harry's changed everything, and he must already be a legend with the fans!"
