Zoff urges Juventus to stand by Ferrara
Dino Zoff has called on Juventus to support coach Ciro Ferrara.
Ferrara oversaw another defeat last night against Roma.
“The Bianconeri put their faith in him and I think it’s right to continue,” Zoff told RaiSport.
“We will see now that he has recovered several players how things will go. In any case, when there is a crisis, the responsibility is on everyone’s shoulders and not just the Coach.”
The legendary 1982 World Cup winner also gives respite to the much-criticised summer signings Diego and Felipe Melo.
“I don’t think they have been flops, as I believe they are two excellent players. They arrived to find a situation of general confusion and they too paid for this negative streak.”
