Dino Zoff has backed an Italy recall for AS Roma captain Francesco Totti.

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli has floated the idea in the past week.

"Totti has enormous technical and tactical qualities," former Azzurri coach Zoff told Radio Mana Mana.

"I'd be very happy to see him back with the national side.

"He played a great European Championship when I was in charge [Euro 2000], whereas, with others, he wasn't able to confirm himself on the international stage."
