Zlatan Ibrahimovic reckons he can play for Manchester United again - and this year.
The Daily Star says Ibrahimovic, 35, was released by the Old Trafford club at the end of the season, when they decided not to take up an option to extend his contract.
That was because of the knee injury which seemingly brought a premature end to his career in Manchester – and was expected to keep him out until the New Year at least.
But Ibra was at one of United's training grounds last Tuesday – Littleton Road in Salford – with his sons Maximillian and Vincent, who were training there.
And he told staff there he hopes to be fit in five months.
