Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has pleaded with fans to get behind the team.

Zidane was concerned with the support after victory over Malaga.

"I hope that was just them being demanding," he said.

"I understand the fans because they always demand more of their players. At times, when things are going against you, we need our fans to drive us on and to get behind us. I'm not going to criticise them, because they pay their money and want to see more from their team. At times, when a team has played a lot of games and is affected by injures, the players are in need of a bit of love, as is the coach."
