Zidane tells Real Madrid president Perez to go French for next defensive signing

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane wants to go French to boost his defence.

With Nacho now boasting the most amount of minutes for any Real defender this season, Zidane has told president Florentino Perez his defence needs refreshing.

And Diario Gol says he wants Real to go French to satisfy his demands.

Athletic Bilbao defender Aymeric Laporte has been recommended by Zidane to Perez. With a buyout clause of €65m, Zidane believes Perez should write the French defender's signing into their summer budget.

Interestingly, Zidane is already planning for the close season transfer window, despite doubts over his own future.

Along with Real, Laporte has been a long-term target for Manchester City and Barcelona.
