Zidane surprised how quickly Ronaldo settled at Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane says he's a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and the way he is playing for Real Madrid.

Zizou is now part of the Real football staff and is enjoying his role.

He said: "I love the way Ronaldo is playing and I'm surprised at how quickly he adapted to the Spanish Liga. I feel he's a special player, because his confidence has infected the rest of the team. It is almost inconceivable that any one of Cristiano's age has already achieved so much."

Of his own role, Zidane added: "It is a great pleasure working alongside Florentino Perez, who wants to build another team to make history. Right now I am learning and Florentino has given me a great freedom to learn in all facets of Madrid.

"My goal someday is to be manager of the club."
