Real Madrid Castilla coach Zinedine Zidane is disappointed by Carlo Ancelotti's sacking.

Zidane worked closely with Ancelotti in his first season in charge.

"It hurts me for him and for what he did. At the same time I know how Madrid works. He knew that it could happen.

"I have great respect for him as a man and as a coach. I loved working alongside him. Carlo came to see us very often, he supported me and always had a kind word for me."
