Former Barcelona defender Laurent Blanc is gaining support within the Florentino Perez camp to be next coach of Real Madrid.

The Bordeaux boss is a favourite of Zinedine Zidane, who is pressing his claims to Perez, says Sport.

With AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti expected to join Chelsea and Arsene Wenger tied to Arsenal, there is no obvious coaching candidate for Perez to name ahead of the Real presidential election.
